At Shine Community Impact, our mission is to equip and empower the vulnerable in the Cyfair community of Houston, TX. We are dedicated to providing essential programs and support services that enable youth, men, and families to thrive and become impactful members of society.
Our goal is to foster a community where individuals are not only supported but also encouraged to give back. Through our programs and services, we aim to create an environment where every member can flourish and contribute positively to the betterment of our society.
SCI provides transitional housing to young (18-23 y/o) men who have aged out of foster care or are experiencing homelessness. Our program supports these young men in becoming productive secondary students, contributing citizens, and valuable members of our local community.
Empower middle and high school students from the local and surrounding areas with essential life skills relevant to their current stage of life and their future. Topics covered include mental health awareness, personal finance, etiquette, alternatives to college, and more.
The SCI Furniture Bank offers new and gently used furniture to families in need, ensuring that every child in our community has access to a warm, comfortable bed and that families can experience their home as a place of refuge.
Participate in high-quality sports camps during the summer, where individuals can enhance their athletic skills at a free or reduced cost.

A native Houstonian driven by a deep passion for serving the community, particularly in the realm of mental health and overall well-being. With a wealth of experience in the non-profit sector, she brings invaluable expertise and unwavering dedication to our team.
A former hospital chaplain turned community leader, is committed to serving and supporting the most vulnerable. With experience in managing a local food pantry, organizing back-to-school drives, and establishing scholarship programs, he is dedicated to making a difference in the community.
A Houston native and Texas A&M University graduate, serves as a dedicated member of the Houston Fire Department (HFD). He channels his passion into assisting young individuals navigating the challenges of adoption or foster care, ensuring they receive the support and resources they need to thrive.
